Last Minute Friendsgiving Dinner!

Okay, we’ve got ten.tenten days left until Thanksgiving, and I’m sure some of you have been to a Friends-giving, invited to one, or are gearing up for Thanksgiving itself.

This post is for anyone who needs a little pep in their step to get things kicked off for Turkey Day.

Let’s get on with it.

if you’re the one who’s hosting the dinner, and you’re just starting to get everything together now don’t worry I got you, because it’s never too late to eat dinner with friends!

First, decide what kinda theme you’re going to have, if any.
Disposable dinnerware v. real plates, napkins, etc.

Cocktails.

BOURBON APPLE CIDER
HIBISCUS CIDER
SNAKEBITE - equal parts good lager, great hard cider
CIDER SANGRIA

Eats.

TURKEY - can't go wrong with AB, he's a legend

MASHED POTATOES - you need something to soak up all the sauces
Choose any potatoes you like, quarter them and cover them with cold water.
Bring it to a boil, take off the lid, salt the water and cook until fork tender.
Add warmed milk and butter, salt, pepper, green onions, etc. you get the point!

MAC & CHEESE - stay tuned for my go-to recipe :)

Dessert.

CARROT CAKE
DIY ICE CREAM BAR - super simple, buy all the flavors, grab some toppings, and bust out the bowls, you're done!

I would love to see how you guys are prepping for my favorite holiday!
