Holla Fo' A Faux Fur Collar.

Growing up I wasn't a big fan of fur, faux or real, but it's definitely growing on me. I can't afford real fur, not that I support it, but I understand why people love it. Status, texture, aesthetics, what have you, this post isn't here to bash either side.

Out of my entire wardrobe this faux fur collared cardigan is the only thing I own, if you don't count the countless marshmallow down jacket with faux fur trim on the hoods.

I never owned a fur jacket or vest, or even a bag or purse for that matter. Just wasn't my thing growing up. As my style's evolved over the years, I find myself gravitating towards the basics. I'd much rather spend more money on a quality staple for my closet than a dress for one occasion, at one of the fast-fashion stores that we all tend to find ourselves in somehow.

What are a few fur, faux or not, items that you have in your closet that you simple cannot part with? - I'd love to get some ideas!

enjoy!
