#TravelingKibs – Los Angeles

I had the opportunity to visit the Bay area this past Summer, and it did not disappoint!

I attended BlogHer, which is an annual conference that is geared toward female bloggers (pretty straightforward).

Last year it was in New York City – where I got the chance to have dinner at the Red Rooster in Harlem, cooked by non other than Marcus Samuelsson himself. The food was humble, plated well, and refreshingly inventive. You can’t really go wrong with comfort food right?

Between talks about entrepreneurship with Gweneth Paltrow, to breakout sessions on the industry’s latest, there truly was something for everyone.

This year was hosted by Cheryl Crow and the one and only Kim Kardashian West.

It was amazing to get to stay in the Downtown area for a little bit, everything was pretty accessible and relatively easy to get to.

After the conference ended, my BFF Carmen and I ended up scoring this awesome AirBnB that was in yet another (another one) great location.

For our adventure we figured it was only right we got some steps in on our hike up to see the Hollywood Sign.
